The role of a Content Administrator is to create and update existing GE data. The Content Administrator will have to be dedicated in his/her work and pay attention to details of GE data.
1 Forum Moderator
The role of a Forum Moderator is to manage the day to day posts and threads of GranadoCafe's forum and ensure it is spam-free. The Forum Moderator has to be active in GranadoCafe's forum and a minimum of 80 posts is required. (Or the equivalent of a "Claude" forum rank.)

The GC Admin Team has already build GranadoCafe AuctionHouse to a stable working version. However, like all software there are bound to be bugs and errors somewhere. We are also looking at someone who can design a new 460x100 logo for GranadoCafe AuctionHouse. Should your logo be selected, we will put it up as our new logo.
GranadoCafe AuctionHouse uses GranadoCafe Database's Item database. So the Auto-Get Item Image will only display images found in GranadoCafe Data's Item database. If anyone is interested in updating GC Item Database, feel free to let me know.

In an effort to ensure a sound and healthy game economy, we have decided to embark on the following measures.
Over the last 2 weeks, we have been performing thorough investigation of reports made by the community in regard to certain people doing real life monetary trading in Granado Espada. To minimize players from being inaccurately accused, the QA team and Gamemaster team spent long hours tracing and analyzing the logs. Every suspected account was scrutinized closely and documented.
In addition to the reports made by the community, the team also carried out a further investigation of other gaming accounts in order to weed out other Real Life Monetary Traders. Offenders who have violated our game policy by means of advertising for any illegal services are checked and earmarked accordingly.
The result - 469 G.E accounts were banned and an estimate of 500 million vis were confiscated. These disciplinary actions were taken on 8 June 2007, Friday, 2115hrs (GMT+8).
However, we do note that while we have invested full resources in doing so, it is virtually impossible to ensure that our disciplinary actions would not result in innocent gamers being mistakenly identified. Hence, if you have any dispute or questions regarding this exercise, please submit a ticket through our Ticketing system. We will review each appeal on a case by case basis and respond accordingly. However, please understand that we would not reveal any exact details of our investigation so as to prevent any abuse of our internal policing system.
We would like to thank all the G.E. gamers who have assisted in our investigation.
At the same time, there will be an update of the Game Policy with immediate effect. This change is to facilitate and provide a better adventuring experience in Granado Espada.
Please take note of the following changes made to the Game Policy:
1. Attempting monetary trade | 1st Offence | 2nd Offence | | 5 days suspension | Permanent Account Ban |
*Penalties are dealt on a situational basis. 2. Inappropriate character name - Pure Gibberish - Consist of a string of letters which do not produce a pronounceable name (Example: Aoieklskjd)
- Foreign or symbolic Characters - Contains characters that are not of the English alphabetical characters A-Z. (Example: #$%^*)
Note: If a player's Family name and Character name is found violating the policy, a random name will be assigned.

Three cheers for GE admins!!! Hopefully this will reduce the number of game currency sellers. This drastic action is predicted to have serious reprecussions on factions depending on "extra services" to win the upcoming colony war. =)

We have received numerous feedback about our official sponsor's banner, GranadoMart.com
We have already started negotiations on removing the banner, if we are able to make ends meet.
We would like to highlight to Corny Rexaur, and other users that the comments section was taken down, not in an attempt to silence the public, but because there was no purporse of a comment section. The comments were initially put up to gather feedback. However, it was eventually misused and abused, with stains of vulgarities and obscence language. We do not condone disagreement, much less expect acceptance.

After three weeks, GranadoCafe finally finds a sponsor!
Due to our fast community growth, server costs are too high for us to maintain. We would like to thank GranadoMart for taking care of this problem by fully paying for all our monthly's expenses. We can now focus on adding more content into GranadoCafe to better serve you!

Dear all,
Please take note of the following:
1) Please DO NOT launch the Granado Espada game client until tomorrow morning, 15th May 2007, 12am. This is because we are doing some updates in the patches and this might result in error messages. For users who have been launching the Granado Espada game client and have experienced these error messages, you MAY need to reinstall the game client again if you continue to have these errors after 17th May 2007, 12pm, when the servers are opened up to the public.
2) There will be some server maintenance tomorrow, 15th May 2007 from 1am - 5am. (GMT +8). Users may experience some intermittent disruptions on the GE website and forum.

K2 Network has recently published a new site layout. More stunning graphics were being used. They have also included a forum for discussion. Beta registration for Sword of the New World is open and all applications will be short-listed. 
Hurry to sign up for the Beta account before it's too late! For a quick update on Sword of the New World: - Sword of the New World will be Free-to-Play, however character level are capped at level 20 and no trading will be allowed
- To unlock the level cap and trading restrictions, you have to subscribe

Public Apology The puporse of this news article is to give due accrediation to GranadoEspada.cc , International community website for Granado Espada. It appears there has been some form of plagiarism, with regards to the Stances section of our database. I would like to apologise to the management of GranadoEspada.cc for allowing the information to be put up without proper accrediation. Nevertheless, this was not the intention of the GranadoCafe.com management. Firstly, the Stances database section was assigned to Mark, who was part of the planning committee. When I had recieved the list of Stances, I assumed Mark had already sought consent, given accrediation, and/or written the guides himself. It also came as a shock to me when I was firstly accused of plagiarism. I will deny no responsibility, that the fault is solely mine, as administrator, to not have verified the origins of the content, and that proper research has not been done. Mark has since been dismissed from the planning committee and we can assure you future instances of plagiarism shall not be found on our website. I seek the forgiveness and understanding of the management as well as members of GranadoEspada, for the distress I might have caused, in my failure of role as an administrator. Until permission has been sought, the Stances section of our database has been taken down. All of our content are now being double-checked for instances of plagiarism, as I too see the gravity of this matter. |

Monday, April 16, 2007 In this first in a series of articles, Phil Maurer, the Operations Team Lead for the upcoming MMORPG, Sword of the New World joins Garrett Fuller to answer his questions. MMORPG.com: Granado Espada has had tremendous success in the Asian Market. Can you tell us the reaction you have had from players in the U.S.?
Phil Maurer: So far our focus groups have shown incredibly positive response to Sword of the New World. The game play is fast and fun, and the graphics make people want to keep exploring to see what is in the next area. In fact we have had some problems with how much fun the game is. We are currently doing in house testing and more then a few of our support staff was staying up late playing sword and not sleeping, we ended up having to place limits on some accounts.
